What is CiviCRM
The official description of CiviCRM from the About page on the CiviCRM site is:
CiviCRM is an open source project that produces software for nonprofit and civic sector organizations. For more complicated situations, there are additional tools that are available only in Drupal, so depending on your needs, we might recommend Drupal for you as well.
